The story of our son Jack and his
cracking eggs.
Jack, 12, is responsible for the many chickens on our working family farm. He lovingly cares for each chicken every day.
A surprise awaits him every morning when he goes to collect the eggs laid by his chicken friends.
Jack said: "We get various numbers each day, large and small, alongside double yolkers
"Our chickens lay so well, and it is always exciting to see the eggs being delivered to the guests at our cottages."
Jack has been at the helm of this chicken and egg enterprise since he was a small boy, helped by his Dad, Euan.
It is one of the many things that makes Galloway View so special.
